Ventrillo Talk program
Here is a great program for online racing or for just chating.
DOWNLOAD VENTRILLO 2.1.4 FROM THE LINK BELOW (1.2meg)

Once you have downloaded ventrillo, unzip it into "my docs".... open the ventrillo folder and right click on "ventrillo.exe and then left click on "create short cut to your desktop" ,,, once you have done that, launch ventrillo and follow the steps below
DONT UPDATE!!!!! (THIS IS THE VERSION WE USE)
here are the directions
go to "user name"
click on the box on the far right (->) which opens a box called "setup user"
click on "new"
type in "your name"
click "ok"
NEXT
go to "Server"
click on the the box on the far right (->) which opens "Connection editor"
click on "new"
Type in "GYB Server"
click ok
Type this IP address in
vent.dtrsc-nitro.com
where is says "Hostname or IP"

and change the port number to 3785
then click ok
NEXT
Before you connect there's a couple of settings that MUST be done because its default settings are set to "hands free" and if you come on the server without changing them first it will disrupt the server.
Click on the SETUP tab on the right
this will put you in the "voice" settings
change them to the same as the settings below

then click on the "EVENTS" tab at the top and change all to "nothing"

Then click on the "GLOBAL" tab and uncheck the update box

Now click OK
Now Click "Connect"
PS IP ADDRESS HAS CHANGED 2/1/2009

I tried to get onto vent using these details and couldnt get through any reason why? Could get onto KDSR but not GYB

get on the GYB vent with us and all will be sorted in no time,,,,
i wont be posting up ip's and pass words on the forums
